I'm Alyssa, often called Aly for short 

I'm twenty years old and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. A food lover and green tea fanatic, I'm an ordinary university student who loves to waste time blogging, watching Asian dramas or doing online shopping when I'm not being bombarded with assignments. I also make reviews from time to time, being the makeup and skincare junkie I am. Since I'm on exchange in Japan for a year, I'm also posting about my experiences and the things I get up to.

If you know me, you'll also know that I'm a self proclaimed language freak. I'm half Filipino so apart from English, I like to think that I'm somewhat fluent in Tagalog. I also understand Ilonggo (my mum's dialect). I've been learning Japanese for a couple of years now, so I also understand simple Japanese. Other than that, I know very basic Chinese and Korean.
